Why do you never see baby pigeons or squirrels?

maby cause the parents meke the nest in a safe plce where there are no predators or anything like thatWhy do you never see baby pigeons or squirrels?
By the time a pigeon leaves it's nest...it looks very similar to an adult. Sometimes you will notice a ';fluffy'; looking pigeon...this is a baby that still has some down...other than this..it is almost impossible to tell them apart.Why do you never see baby pigeons or squirrels?
Squirrels burry extremely high and deep in tree trunks. Saw it on Animal Planet.
